Manufacturing plants and machinery are cared for by a well-organized maintenance team and they operate by large at an acceptable rate of efficiency. However, more often than not, some items are being overlooked, merely because the plant can still run and produce even if they are not attended too immediately. A tight production schedule may also be a contributing factor.
There is no doubt that when repairs are done correctly, the plant produces a better-quality result.
Our aim is to identify those overlooked items for repair.
Millwright Automation’s experienced inspector will evaluate each piece of machinery, with the goal to identify possible repairs and deficiencies, with improvements to production in mind, as well as increasing operational reliability and improving equipment safety. This process will take place during production hours and includes a brief consultation with the operator.
A condition audit or report is provided, outlining all deficiencies and concerns. The report provides details regarding each issue and recommends a course of action.
Along with the audit report a detailed cost estimate is provided, describing all repairs and replacements to be done. The audit report lays a sound basis for review with the customer to determine a plan of action with an acceptable timeframe.
During the review an action plan is proposed for the implementation of the repairs. This may include a schedule for repeat inspections and a preventative maintenance plan.
